COUNTIES...
AT 510 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
STRONG THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES NORTH OF TOMS RIVER...MOVING SOUTHEAST
AT 15 MPH. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING PEA SIZE HAIL.
CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING. DO NOT SEEK SHELTER UNDER
TREES WHEN LIGHTNING THREATENS, MOVE INDOORS WHEN A THUNDERSTORM
APPROACHES. THIS STORM IS MOVING TOWARD THE SHORE AREAS, THEREFORE
IF YOU SEE THREATENING WEATHER, MOVE OFF THE BEACHES QUICKLY.
VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL FALL FROM THIS STORM, AND WILL CAUSE WATER TO
POND ON ROADS AND QUICKLY FILL ROADSIDE DITCHES. WIND GUSTS UP TO
35 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.
