  GOODHUE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...
  SOUTHERN DAKOTA COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...

* UNTIL 930 AM CDT

* AS OF 530 AM LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS WERE REPORTING ONGOING       
  FLOODING IN CANNON FALLS ON THE CANNON AND LITTLE CANNON RIVERS.   
  HIGHWAY 20 WAS REPORTED CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING.  ONGOING FLOODING  
  WAS ALSO REPORTED IN PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN DAKOTA COUNTY.  LAW      
  ENFORCEMENT ALSO REPORTED SOME FLOODING ISSUES IN THE              
  NORTHFIELD AREA OF RICE COUNTY.  RAINFALL OF 8 TO PERHAPS AS MUCH  
  AS 10 INCHES FELL BEFORE MIDNIGHT FROM NEAR NORTHFIELD TO          
  CANNON FALLS THEN TOWARD THE RED WING AREA.  THIS BAND OF          
  TORRENTIAL RAIN WAS EMBEDDED IN BROAD AREA OF 5 INCHES OR MORE     
  ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHWEST RICE COUNTY...THE NORTHERN HALF OF        
  GOODHUE COUNTY AND EXTREME SOUTHERN DAKOTA COUNTY.  IT IS POSSIBLE 
  THAT THIS WARNING MAY HAVE TO BE EXTENDED PAST 930 AM FOR AT LEAST 
  THE NORTHERN PORTIONS OF GOODHUE COUNTY.
