  BRISTOL COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS...
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...TAUNTON...NEW BEDFORD...FALL RIVER...
  PLYMOUTH COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS...
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH...

* UNTIL 1000 PM EDT

* AT 652 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A 
BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING TROPICAL DOWNPOURS APPROACHING THE 
SOUTH COASTAL MASSACHUSETTS AREA. THIS BAND IS FORECAST TO TRACK 
THROUGH FAR SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS BETWEEN 7 AND 830 PM.  RADAR IS 
ESTIMATING THAT SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING 
UP TO AN INCH OF RAIN IN 20 MINUTES.  THIS WILL BE ENOUGH TO PRODUCE 
SIGNIFICANT URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE FLASH FLOODING.  

LOCATIONS OF PARTICULAR CONCERN INCLUDE NEW BEDFORD AND FALL RIVER. 

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE
FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN LOW LYING AREAS. DRIVERS SHOULD BE ALERT
FOR FLOODED ROADS AND FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE. TURN AROUND...DONT
