AT 1012 AM EST...A BROKEN BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WERE 
DETECTED BY RADAR ACROSS FULTON...SARATOGA AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES. 
THESE SNOW SHOWERS WILL AFFECT THE NORTHWAY NORTH OF EXIT 10 THROUGH 
11 AM.  WITHIN THE HEAVIEST BURSTS OF SNOW...SNOWFALL RATES MAY 
REACH UP TO ONE INCH PER HOUR. SNOW WILL NOT LAST LONG AT ANY ONE 
PARTICULAR LOCATION...BUT A QUICK COATING TO HALF INCH OF SNOW MAY 
ACCUMULATE. 

THESE LOCALIZED BANDS WILL PRODUCE A BRIEF BURSTS OF MODERATE TO 
HEAVY SNOW AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL. THESE SNOW BANDS MAY BE ONLY A FEW 
MILES WIDE...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR RAPIDLY DETERIORATING 
CONDITIONS. PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION WHILE TRAVELING.
