  NORTHEASTERN NORTON COUNTY IN NORTHWEST KANSAS...

* UNTIL 315 PM CDT

* AT 253 PM CDT...STORM SPOTTERS AND NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER
  RADAR WERE TRACKING A LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO 5 MILES
  NORTHEAST OF ALMENA. DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THIS TORNADO MOVING NORTH
  AT 30 MPH.

  IN ADDITION TO THE TORNADO...THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
  LARGE DESTRUCTIVE HAIL UP TO BASEBALL SIZE.   

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF EXTREME NORTHEASTERN NORTON COUNTY.
