ARLENE WILL COMBINE WITH WEAK TO MODERATE ONSHORE WINDS
TODAY...AND RESULT IN A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS TODAY AND THIS
EVENING. THE RISK FOR RIP CURRENTS WILL ONLY DIMINISH SLIGHTLY
THIS WEEKEND AS PERIODS ONLY GRADUALLY DIMINISH AND ONSHORE FLOW
CONTINUES. 

AT THIS TIME...WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO BE AROUND 1/2 FOOT
BELOW THE LEVELS SEEN YESTERDAY. SOME MINOR BEACH FLOODING IS
STILL POSSIBLE SOUTH OF PORT ARANSAS...AS SOME AREAS MAY HAVE
STANDING WATER OR WATER SLOWER TO RECEDE. HIGH TIDE AT PORT
ARANSAS OCCURS AT 610 AM FRIDAY MORNING...WITH ANOTHER HIGH TIDE
AT 100 PM THIS AFTERNOON.

.PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINE-RELATED ACTIVITIES...INCLUDING SWIMMING...ARE HIGHLY
DISCOURAGED DUE TO THE RIP CURRENT THREAT. A HIGH RIP CURRENT
RISK MEANS THE SURF IS DANGEROUS FOR ALL LEVELS OF SWIMMERS. RIP
CURRENTS ARE LIFE-THREATENING TO ANYONE ENTERING THE SURF.
