  NORTHERN ASHLAND COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL OHIO

* UNTIL 1230 AM EDT

* AT 937 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE      
  WARNED AREA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO LOCALLY 3 INCHES HAVE      
  OCCURRED.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO   
  OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...     
  ASHLAND...HAYESVILLE...POLK AND SAVANNAH.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE

UNTIL 1230 AM EDT...

AT 1132 PM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT WATER 
LEVELS HAD DECREASED IN THE CITY OF ASHLAND. HOWEVER LOCATIONS 
ACROSS THE COUNTY ARE STILL REPORTING HIGH WATER. 

SEVERAL CREEKS AND STREAMS WERE OVER THEIR BANKS EARLIER THIS 
EVENING WITH MANY LOCATIONS SEEING UNUSUAL FLOODING.
