THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN KEY WEST HAS ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING. STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE MIDDLE AND LOWER KEYS THIS MORNING...IN THE WAKE OF A POWERFUL COLD FRONT WHICH MOVED THROUGH THE KEYS ON FRIDAY. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 25 MPH WITH FREQUENT GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE MID MORNING HOURS. WIND IMPACTS WILL BE STRONGEST ON BRIDGES AND UNSHELTERED ROAD SECTIONS...AS WELL AS ON THE EXPOSED NORTHERN AND WESTERN SHORES OF THE KEYS.
