OCEAN FRONT AS WELL AS THE ADJACENT BACK BAYS IS POSSIBLE THIS
EVENING...

NORMAL ASTRONOMICAL TIDES WERE RATHER HIGH TODAY DUE TO THE FULL
MOON ON MONDAY, AND WILL CONTINUE SO FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THIS,
COMBINED WITH A BRISK SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST FLOW AHEAD OF A COLD
FRONT APPROACHING FROM THE WEST, WAS CAUSING TIDES ON THE OCEAN
FRONT TO BE AROUND 1 FOOT ABOVE NORMAL. THE APPROACHING EVENING
HIGH TIDE IS THE HIGHER OF THE TWO DAILY HIGH TIDES AT THIS TIME,
AND, AS HIGH TIDE APPROACHES, SCATTERED MINOR TIDAL FLOODING COULD
OCCUR THIS EVENING. HIGH TIDE IS FROM ABOUT 7:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON
THE OCEAN FRONT...AND IS UP TO A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER ON THE
ADJACENT BACK BAYS.

AREA RESIDENTS AND VISITORS TO SHORE AREAS MAY NEED TO MOVE
VEHICLES AWAY FROM FLOOD-PRONE LOCATIONS UNTIL HIGH TIDE PASSES
