000 WHUS41 KPHI 082335 CFWPHI COASTAL HAZARD MESSAGE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOUNT HOLLY NJ 635 PM EST SAT MAR 8 2008 MDZ008-012-015-019-090300- /O.NEW.KPHI.CF.S.0001.080308T2335Z-080309T0300Z/ CECIL-KENT MD-QUEEN ANNES-TALBOT- 635 PM EST SAT MAR 8 2008 ...AREAS OF MINOR TIDAL FLOODING ALONG THE NORTHERN MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE THIS EVENING... A STRONG WEST TO SOUTHWEST WIND WAS CAUSING TIDES TO BUILD PAST THE NORMAL TIMES OF HIGH TIDE THIS EVENING OVER THE MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE. TIDES HEIGHTS AT CAMBRIDGE HAD REACHED 3.5 FEET AS OF 615 PM EST, AND THEY HAD CLIMBED FOR ONE AND ONE-HALF HOURS AFTER THE TIME OF ASTRONOMICAL HIGH TIDE. SOME ADDITIONAL RISES UP THE NORTHERN CHESAPEAKE BAY ARE POSSIBLE BEFORE AND EVEN AFTER TIMES OF HIGH TIDE LATER THIS EVENING, AND THAT WILL RESULT IN SOME AREAS OF MINOR TIDAL FLOODING. HIGH TIME AT TOLCHESTER BEACH IS AROUND 730 PM EST, AND HIGH TIDE HAPPENS LATER IN THE EVENING FURTHER NORTH. TO BE SAFE, PLEASE MOVE YOUR VEHICLES AWAY FROM AREAS PRONE TO TIDAL FLOODING. $$ MPD
