...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
...LAKE WIND ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE HAS UPGRADED THE LAKE
WIND ADVISORY TO A WIND ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM
EDT THIS EVENING.

SOUTH WINDS AT 20 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH WILL CREATE
ROUGH AND HAZARDOUS BOATING CONDITIONS ON AREA LAKES AND THE
INTRACOASTAL WATERS. THIS WILL RESULT IN HIGH WAVES WHICH MAY TIP
OR SWAMP SMALL CRAFT. REMEMBER THAT WATER TEMPERATURES ARE STILL
COOL WHICH CAN LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF YOU ARE FORCED OVERBOARD.

IN ADDITION...SUCH WINDS WILL CAUSE UNSECURED OBJECTS TO BLOW
AROUND. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT FOR HIGH
PROFILE OR LIGHT WEIGHT VEHICLES...ESPECIALLY ON EAST WEST
ORIENTED HIGHWAYS DUE TO THE CROSSWIND.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 25 TO 39 MPH AND OR
GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED.
