* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
CRAWFORD COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI
* UNTIL 100 AM CST
* AT 852 PM CST...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS THAT OVER A FOOT
OF WATER CONTINUED TO COVER SEVERAL ROADWAYS IN THE COUNTY.
* FLASH FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA...AND WILL BE
AFFECTING PRIMARILY LOW LYING AREAS IN AND NEAR CREEKS AND
STREAMS.
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE
BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
