THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FULTON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 845 PM EST

* AT 452 PM EST...HEAVY RAIN FROM THUNDERSTORMS THAT PUSHED ACROSS   
  THE AREA EARLIER TODAY HAVE CAUSED RISING WATERS ALONG BIG CREEK   
  NEAR ALPHARETTA. 

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO ROSWELL AND
  ALPHARETTA.

AT 450 PM EST...THE STAGE AT ALPHARETTA WAS 6.7 FEET AND RISING. 
FLOOD STAGE IS 7.0 FEET. THE WATER IS NOW EXPECTED TO CREST JUST 
ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BETWEEN 5 AND 7 PM. THE CREEK SHOULD FALL BELOW 
FLOOD STAGE BY 9 PM THIS EVENING. 

REMEMBER...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR
