THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHWESTERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY IN WESTERN NEW YORK...

* UNTIL 215 AM EDT

* AT 1116 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED  
  OVER THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN NORTHWEST OF CLYMER ALONG     
  PORTIONS OF FRENCH CREEK AND ITS TRIBUTARIES DURING THE LAST TWO   
  HOURS. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS MAY IMPACT THIS AREA UNTIL 1 AM    
  WHICH MAY DROP ANOTHER INCH.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF 
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND IN 
THIS AREA.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
