...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR
INLAND SECTIONS OF THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE FOR LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES...SUSTAINED 20FT WINDS OF AT LEAST 15 MPH AND HIGH
DISPERSION INDICES...

.THE LOCAL AREA REMAINS BETWEEN A HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE TO THE
NORTH AND A LOW PRESSURE CENTER TO THE SOUTH. THIS COMBINATION
CONTINUES TO GENERATE BREEZY AND RELATIVELY DRY NORTHEAST WINDS.
ON WEDNESDAY THE RIDGE WILL WEAKEN AS THE LOW MOVES SLOWLY WEST
RESULTING IN A MODEST DECREASE IN WINDS. GOOD TRANSPORT WINDS WILL
YIELD HIGH DISPERSION INDICES ON TUESDAY. MOISTURE AND RAIN
CHANCES WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE DURING THE MIDWEEK PERIOD AS THE
LOW MOVES WEST. RELATIVE HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL REMAIN ABOVE
CRITICAL VALUES THROUGH THE WEEK.
