THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST THURSDAY. 

A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE POCONOS AND SUSSEX COUNTY NEW 
JERSEY INTO THE OVERNIGHT PERIOD. 

THE NORTHWEST FLOW AROUND THE INTENSE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM NEAR CAPE 
COD MASSACHUSETTS WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. WIND GUSTS ARE EXPECTED 
TO REACH AROUND 50 MPH, ESPECIALLY OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN.

THESE WINDS WILL CAUSE WEAKER TREES AND SOME POWER LINES TO COME 
DOWN AND RESULT IN SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES. THE WINDS WILL ALSO MAKE 
DRIVING OF HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES DIFFICULT ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND 
OVERPASSES. IT WILL ALSO HAMPER ROAD CREWS TRYING TO PLOW AND KEEP 
ROADWAYS CLEAR. THE STRONG WINDS WILL ALSO PRODUCE WIND CHILL 
FACTORS WELL BELOW ZERO.

USE EXTRA CAUTION WHILE DRIVING AND STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO 
ALL HAZARDS OR YOUR LOCAL MEDIA OUTLET FOR THE LATEST INFORMATION.
WINDS WILL DIMINISH TOWARD MORNING BELOW ADVISORY CRITERIA, BUT ARE 
EXPECTED TO REMAIN STRONG DURING THE DAY ON THURSDAY.

WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE TODAY. SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS WILL REMAIN
BETWEEN 15 AND 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH AT TIMES. MAKE SURE TO
TRAVEL WITH CAUTION TODAY SINCE THERE WILL BE AREAS OF BLOWING
SNOW AND SLIPPERY TRAVEL.
