SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS OF 30 TO 45 MPH WITH GUSTS TO NEAR 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED TO PERSIST THROUGH 9 AM CST /8 AM MST/ ACROSS THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS. IN THE DAVIS MOUNTAINS... THE WINDS WILL REMAIN CONFINED TO LOCATIONS ABOVE 6000 FEET...WITH SPEEDS OF 30 TO 45 MPH AND GUSTS TO NEAR 65 MPH. THESE WINDS...ALONG WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW TO MID 30S WILL RESULT IN WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE TEENS.
