* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN REYNOLDS COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI

* UNTIL 615 AM CDT

* AT 111 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  FLASH FLOODING OVER THE WARNED AREA. RADAR ESTIMATES 2 TO 4 INCHES 
  OF WATER HAS FALLEN THIS EVENING OVER SOUTHERN REYNOLDS COUNTY     
  INCLUDING THE CLEARWATER LAKE AREA AND ALONG HIGHWAY 34 TO         
  GARWOOD. NEW DEVELOPMENT HAS OCCURRED TO THE WEST IN SHANNON 
  COUNTY WHICH WILL MOVE EAST ACROSS SOME OF THESE SAME AREAS ALONG
  AND SOUTH OF ELLINGTON. INTENSE RAIN AND FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY.

* FLASH FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA...AND WILL BE       
  AFFECTING ELLINGTON...GARWOOD...AND THE CLEARWATER LAKE            
  RECREATIONAL AREA.

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS
FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT TAKES ONLY A FEW INCHES OF
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
