THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  IRON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
  REYNOLDS COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI

* UNTIL 345 AM CDT SUNDAY

* AT 933 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  A LARGE CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH POSSIBLE FLASH FLOODING FROM 
  SALEM TO ROUND SPRING TO ALTON. THIS AREA OF HEAVY RAINFALL IS 
  MOVING TO THE EAST AT 20 MPH. RAINFALL WILL INCREASE AND BE HEAVY 
  AT TIMES THROUGH 100 AM TO 200 AM OVER THE AREA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS 
  OF 2 TO 3 INCHES ARE LIKELY AND DUE TO THE HILLY TERRAIN THE 
  RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE HEAVY AND RAPID.

* FLASH FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA...AND WILL BE
  AFFECTING ANNAPOLIS...REYNOLDS...PILOT KNOB...OATES...IRONTON...
  GLOVER...BUNKER...BIXBY...BELLEVIEW...ARCADIA...CENTERVILLE... 
  ELLINGTON...AND THE CLEARWATER LAKE AREA.

RAPID RISES ON RIVERS AND ESPECIALLY SMALLER STREAMS AND TRIBUTARIES 
IS LIKELY TONIGHT INCLUDING LOGAN CREEK...SINKING CREEK...BLACK 
RIVER...AND BIG CREEK. 

CAMPERS IN LOW AREAS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE CAMPING ON GRAVEL BARS AND CREEKSIDE SPOTS
FOR THE WEEKEND...MAKE THEM AWARE THAT SIGNIFICANT RISES COULD BE 
POSSIBLE. CAMPING IN THESE SPOTS COULD BE DANGEROUS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS 
FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT TAKES ONLY A FEW INCHES OF 
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
