THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN BERRIEN COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN

* UNTIL 530 PM EDT

* AT 458 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH STRONG ROTATION.  THESE SEVERE
  STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 5 MILES WEST OF
  SHOREHAM TO 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF STEVENSVILLE...OR ALONG A LINE
  EXTENDING FROM 7 MILES WEST OF ST. JOSEPH TO 8 MILES NORTH OF      
  BUCHANAN...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH. THIS LINE OF SEVERE     
  STORMS HAD A HISTORY OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS  
  IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH.

SHELTER ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF THE BUILDING IN AN INTERIOR HALLWAY 
OR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET. USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO COVER YOUR BODY 
AND ALWAYS STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES...EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A
SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER. IF NO SHELTER IS AVAILABLE...LIE FLAT IN THE
