THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN MCDUFFIE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
  SOUTHERN COLUMBIA COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 200 AM EST

* AT 1256 AM EST....NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR DEARING IN SOUTHERN
  MCDUFFIE COUNTY. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST NEAR 50 MPH.

* SOME COMMUNITIES IN THE WARNING AREA INCLUDE HARLEM.

A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. SEEK SHELTER IN AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
LEVEL OF A HOUSE OR OTHER STURDY STRUCTURE IF A TORNADO IS SPOTTED.
