AN INTENSIFYING STORM SYSTEM NEARING THE TEXAS PANHANDLE IS PRODUCING A STRONG PRESSURE GRADIENT ALONG THE LOWER TEXAS COAST. SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED THE REST OF THE MORNING AND THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH 20 TO 30 MPH IN THE EVENING AND 15 TO 25 MPH OVERNIGHT. A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF AT LEAST 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED.
