THESE WIND SPEEDS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE...DOWNING TREES AND POWER LINES. AREAS MOST PRONE TO EXPERIENCING DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE FAVORED LOCATIONS WHERE FUNNELING OCCURS...AS WELL AS WITHIN AND UPSTREAM OF EAST TO WEST ORIENTED GAPS AND HIGH ELEVATION VALLEYS. A MEASURED WIND GUST OF 54 MPH HAS BEEN REPORTED IN BENNINGTON VERMONT. A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS A HAZARDOUS HIGH WIND EVENT IS EXPECTED OR OCCURRING.
