THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM EST WEDNESDAY. 

A STRONG COLD FRONT SLIDING ACROSS THE REGION...HAS BEEN PRODUCING
STRONG GUSTY WINDS. WIND GUSTS AROUND 40 MPH HAVE BEEN COMMON WITH
THIS FRONT AS IT HAS PUSHED THROUGH. WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 46 AND 55
MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. THESE WINDS ARE
THEN EXPECTED TO WEAKEN...WITH GUST IN THE 25 TO 35 MPH RANGE
AFTER 3 AM.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND GUSTS ABOVE 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED.
