THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING EXTENDED FOR...
  SUSSEX COUNTY IN SOUTHERN DELAWARE

* UNTIL 1115 PM EDT

* AT 905 PM EDT...STREET FLOODING AND FLOODING OF VEHICLES REPORTED IN
  THE WARNED AREA. 

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO SLAUGHTER
  BEACH...SEAFORD...REHOBOTH BEACH...MILTON...LEWES...GEORGETOWN...
  ELLENDALE AND BRIDGEVILLE

THREE HOURLY RADAR RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE THREE TO FOUR INCHES SOUTH OF
HIGHWAY 24 AND EAST OF 113 OR ALONG INDIAN RIVER BAY. ONE TO TWO INCHES
AMOUNTS WERE SCATTERED OVER THE EXTREME SOUTHWEST PART OF DELAWARE WEST
OF HIGHWAY 13 TO THE MARYLAND BORDER, AND ALONG HIGHWAY 9 SOUTH OF MILTON.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY OVER THE 
EASTERN PART OF THE COUNTY OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
