THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY FOR THE OUTER CAPE AND NANTUCKET...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON. SOUTHEAST TO SOUTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 25 TO 35 MPH OVER THE OUTER CAPE AND NANTUCKET LATER THIS MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON. A FEW GUSTS TO 40 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL OCCUR IN A 3 TO 6 HOUR PERIOD CENTERED AROUND MIDDAY. THIS WIND ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR SUSTAINED WINDS WHICH ARE FORECAST TO EXCEED 30 MPH.
