THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY
FOR THE HIGH TERRAIN JUST SOUTHWEST OF BOSTON IN THE BLUE HILLS...AS
WELL AS OUTER CAPE COD FROM WELLFLEET TO PROVINCETOWN AND THIS IS IN
EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EST THIS EVENING.

WEST NORTHWEST WINDS WERE AVERAGING AROUND 30 MPH LATE THIS AFTERNOON IN
LOCATIONS FROM BOSTONS NEARBY SOUTHWEST SUBURBS OUT TO NEAR PROVINCETOWN
ON OUTER CAPE COD. THESE WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BUFFET HIGH PROFILE
VEHICLES AND BLOW LOOSE DEBRIS ACROSS HIGHWAYS.

WINDS WILL START DIMINISHING SLIGHTLY AROUND MIDNIGHT. 

A WIND ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN SUSTAINED WINDS ARE FORECAST TO BE 31
TO 39 MPH OR GUSTS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 46 AND 57 MPH. WINDS THIS
STRONG ARE CAPABLE OF DOWNING SMALL TREE LIMBS AND BRANCHES...POSSIBLY
CAUSING ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES. DRIVING CAN ALSO BE DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY
FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
