DEPTH...TRAPPING OR SUBMERGING VEHICLES.

  MANCHESTER BY 500 PM EDT
  9 MILES NORTH OF MARLBOROUGH BY 510 PM EDT

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE URBAN FLASH FLOODING 
OF STREETS AND UNDERPASSES...AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW 
LYING SPOTS...IN THE GREATER HARTFORD AREA.  THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL 
ALSO PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...INCLUDING 
TROUT BROOK AND PIPER BROOK NEAR FARMINGTON.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
