THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHWESTERN COCHISE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST ARIZONA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF SIERRA VISTA AND HEREFORD

* UNTIL 700 PM MST

* AT 553 PM MST...RADAR AND PUBLIC REPORTS INDICATED FLASH FLOODING  
  IN PARTS OF SOUTH SIERRA VISTA TO NICKSVILLE AND HEREFORD SOUTH TO 
  THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER. THE STORM THAT CAUSED THE VERY HEAVY     
  RAINFALL AND SUBSEQUENT FLASH FLOODING HAD DIMINISHED IN STRENGTH. 
  HOWEVER...NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS WILL LIKELY  
  BE EXPERIENCING SWIFT AND HIGH FLOWS UNTIL 700 PM MST.

* THE STORM PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING WILL OTHERWISE REMAIN OVER
  MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF THE INDICATED COUNTY.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.

AT 630 PM MST...TUCSON DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW SHOWERS AND 
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTHWESTERN COCHISE COUNTY. THE 
HEAVIEST RAINFALL HAD DIMINISHED...BUT ADDITIONAL RAINFALL ON TOP OF 
THE EARLIER HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE RUNOFF AND 
FLOODING PROBLEMS THROUGH AT LEAST 700 PM MST. REMEMBER...LOCATIONS 
IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO SOUTH SIERRA 
VISTA...NICKSVILLE...AND HEREFORD.
