THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN HOLMES COUNTY IN THE PANHANDLE OF FLORIDA
  WALTON COUNTY IN THE PANHANDLE OF FLORIDA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF DE FUNIAK SPRINGS
  WESTERN GENEVA COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST ALABAMA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF GENEVA AND SAMSON

* UNTIL 845 PM CDT

* AT 540 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WARNED AREA FROM 
  THE WEST AT 25 MILES PER HOUR.  RAINFALL WILL BEGIN IN WALTON COUNTY
  AT APPROXIMATELY 630 PM CDT AND SPREAD EAST.  RAIN RATES MAY APPROACH 
  OR EXCEED THREE INCHES PER HOUR.

* SOIL CONDITIONS ARE VERY SATURATED FROM PRIOR RAIN.  CREEKS AND STREAMS
  WILL RISE VERY QUICKLY AFTER RAIN BEGINS.

* THIS STORM WILL CAUSE RAPID FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...
  HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.  ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS 
  ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS WILL 
  LIKELY FLOOD.    

* AVOID ROAD WASH OUTS. TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO 
  CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR 
  BY AUTOMOBILE.
