* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN CECIL COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MARYLAND
  NEW CASTLE COUNTY IN NORTHERN DELAWARE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF NEWARK

* UNTIL 1130 AM EDT

* AT 824 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  UP TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE 7AM THIS MORNING, AND MORE RAIN IS ON 
  THE WAY.  

* WATERSHEDS AFFECTED BY THIS RAIN INCLUDE THE LITTLE BOHEMIA CREEK, 
  AND THE UPPER REACHES OF THE SASSAFRAS RIVER.  THE TOWNS OF        
  MIDDLETOWN AND CHESAPEAKE CITY ARE ALSO LOCATED NEAR THE HEAVIEST  
  RAIN.  

OTHER STREAMS IN NORTHERN NEW CASTLE COUNTY AND EASTERN CECIL COUNTY 
COULD BE EXPERIENCE RISES LATER THIS MORNING AS THE HEAVY RAIN MOVES 
NORTH.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
