THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FARIBAULT COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA
  FREEBORN COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA
  MARTIN COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 500 AM CDT

*THE NATIONAL WEATHER IN CHANHASSEN HAS EXTENDED THE FLASH FLOOD 
WARNING THAT WAS IN EFFECT FOR FARIBAULT...FREEBORN AND MARTIN 
COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA UNTIL 500 AM THIS MORNING.  

AT 145 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR IN CHANHASSEN HAD DETECTED AN AREA 
OF THUNDERSTORMS THAT WAS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER EXTREME 
SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THE THUNDERSTORMS THAT WERE PRODUCING THE 
HEAVY RAINFALL WERE OCCURRING BETWEEN FAIRMONT AND ALBERT 
LEA...MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES HAD VARIED 
FROM 4 TO 6 INCHES SINCE SATURDAY EVENING.  SOME ADDITIONAL RAINFALL 
WILL CAUSE SOME PONDING OF WATER OVER ROADWAYS ALONG WITH SOME MINOR 
STREET FLOODING.  
 
* SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED INCLUDE...ALBERT LEA...ALDEN...
  BLUE EARTH...BRICELYN...CLARKS GROVE...CONGER AND DELAVAN.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IMMINENT.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
