THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CARVER COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
  SCOTT COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 800 AM CDT

* AT 506 AM CDT...RADAR DETECTED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY
  RAIN ACROSS MUCH OF THE WARNED AREA. THE STORMS PRODUCING THE
  HEAVIEST RAIN WERE OVER CHASKA...OR ABOUT 7 MILES SOUTH OF         
  EXCELSIOR. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN PRODUCING THUNDERSTORMS WERE      
  LOCATED NEAR NEW MARKET IN SCOTT COUNTY.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED INCLUDE...CARVER...
  CHANHASSEN...ELKO...JORDAN...NEW MARKET...VICTORIA AND HELENA.
