THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIAMI HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  SOUTH CENTRAL MIAMI-DADE COUNTY 
  IN SOUTH FLORIDA

* UNTIL 515 PM EDT

* AT 455 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL...AND
  DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THIS STORM WAS LOCATED OVER
  SOUTH CENTRAL MIAMI-DADE COUNTY...OR 11 MILES SOUTH OF HOMESTEAD...
  AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

RADAR INDICATIONS OF ROTATION HAVE DECREASED...AS SUCH THE TORNADO 
THREAT HAS DECREASED. HOWEVER GOLF BALL SIZED HAIL IS STILL POSSIBLE 
ALONG CARD SOUND ROAD AND U.S. HIGHWAY 1 JUST NORTH OF FLORIDA BAY.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60
MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. STAY
