  ST. TAMMANY PARISH IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA

* AT 121 AM CDT...TORRENTIAL TROPICAL RAINS FROM TROPICAL STORM CINDY
  WERE INDICATED BY DOPPLER RADAR SPREADING INLAND ACROSS MUCH OF   
  SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES SHOW A LARGE AREA OF 
  3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAINFALL MAY HAVE ALREADY FALLEN IN THE WARNED 
  PARISHES WITH SOME BANDS OF 6 TO 8 INCHES INDICATED FROM ST 
  CHARLES PARISH TO CENTRAL LAFOURCHE PARISH. ANOTHER AREA OF HEAVY  
  ACCUMULATIONS NEAR 8 INCHES WAS INDICATED IN LOWER JEFFERSON AND 
  MUCH OF PLAQUEMINES PARISHES.   

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN THE 
WARNED AREA THROUGH 430 AM.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
