STRONG SOUTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TO SPEEDS OF 30 TO 35 MPH ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS BEGINNING LATE THIS MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH MOST OF THE AFTERNOON. SOME ISOLATED GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. PERSONS TRAVELING ALONG WEST TO EAST ORIENTED HIGHWAYS WILL EXPERIENCE DANGEROUS CROSS-WINDS TODAY. A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF AT LEAST 30 MPH AND/OR WIND GUSTS OVER 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT, ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
