* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LABETTE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS.
  MONTGOMERY COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS.
  NEOSHO COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

* UNTIL 1245 PM CST.

* AT 845 AM CST...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT   
EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WAS PRODUCING FLOODING ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. 
NUMEROUS COUNTY ROADS REMAIN IMPASSIBLE DUE TO HIGH WATER. 2 TO 3 
INCHES OF RAINFALL HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE AREA OVERNIGHT. 

* EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WAS CAUSING FLASH FLOODING ON 160TH ROAD IN 
NEOSHO COUNTY.  

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.

AT 1056 AM CST...LAW ENFORCEMENT INDICATED THAT FLOODING WAS STILL 
OCCURRING IN LABETTE AND NEOSHO COUNTIES. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
THAT MORE LIGHT TO MODERATE FREEZING RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED THIS 
MORNING BEFORE CHANGING OVER TO SNOW AROUND NOON.   

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.

LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO
NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT
ONLY TAKES A FEW INCHES OF SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES
AWAY.
