* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  HEARD COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA
  MERIWETHER COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA
  TROUP COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA

* AT 815 AM EST...DOPPLER WEATHER RADARS INDICATED NUMEROUS 
THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH OVER WEST 
CENTRAL GEORGIA. THIS AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDS WEST INTO
CENTRAL ALABAMA AND WILL CONTINUE TO PASS OVER THE SAME AREA 
FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW
LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
