* AT 323 PM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLASH
FLOODING FROM HEAVY RAIN ALONG GROVE CREEK BETWEEN MAYSVILLE AND
HOMER. THE HEAVY RAIN HAS SUBSIDED HOWEVER CREEKS CONTINUE TO RISE
RESULTING IN FLASH FLOODING.
* LOCATIONS ALONG GROVE CREEK IN SOUTHEAST BANKS COUNTY WILL BE
EFFECTED BY THE RISING WATER.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE

AT 435 PM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT FLASH
FLOODING CONTINUES ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN BANKS COUNTY. TWO
ROADS WERE STILL CLOSED AS A RESULT OF FLOODING FROM GROVE CREEK
NEAR GEORGIA HIGHWAY 98. MOST OF THE RAIN HAS NOW MOVED OUT OF BANKS
COUNTY...BUT IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME FOR THE WATER TO RECEDE.
