MEDINA * UNTIL 415 PM CDT * AT 106 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WARNED AREA. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTH AT 10 TO 15 MPH OVER SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS. THE STORMS OVER MEDINA COUNTY HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. THE STRONGEST OF THESE STORMS WAS LOCATED NORTH OF HONDO ABOUT 5 MILES WEST OF HIGHWAY 173. RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS COULD CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AS WELL AS HIGHWAYS.
