  ERIE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA

* UNTIL 345 PM EDT

* AT 1236 PM EDT...TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED VERY HEAVY 
RAINFALL IN HARBOR CREEK AND WESLEYVILLE. RADAR INDICATES 1 TO 2 
INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN SINCE NON...WITH ANOTHER INCH OR MORE 
POSSIBLE IN THE NEXT HOUR.

* LOCATIONS WITHIN THE WARNED AREA INCLUDE...
  WESLEYVILLE...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN ERIE COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

THE THUNDERSTORMS THAT PRODUCED HEAVY RAIN OVER THE EASTERN SECTIONS 
OF ERIE COUNTY HAVE MOVED OUT OF THE COUNTY.  REPORTS OF RAINFALL AS 
HIGH AS 1.5 INCHES TO 2 INCHES WERE RECEIVED.

FLOODING WAS OBSERVED IN BOTH HARBOR CREEK AND WESLEYVILLE.  LOCAL 
LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED SEVERAL ROADS CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER.  A 
REPORT OF FLOOD WATERS IMPACTING A HOME WERE RECEIVED FROM HARBOR 
CREEK.
