* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN NIAGARA COUNTY IN WESTERN NEW YORK

* UNTIL 545 PM EDT

* AT 520 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
  OF 60 MPH.  THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 5 MILES SOUTH OF MIDDLEPORT...OR
  ABOUT 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MEDINA...AND WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30
  MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE OVER
  RURAL NIAGARA COUNTY THROUGH 545 PM EDT.

AT 548 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED THAT THE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM THAT PROMPTED THE WARNING HAD EXITED THE WARNED 
AREA...THUS THE WARNING HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPIRE. 

HOWEVER...ADDITIONAL STORMS OVER THE EASTERN PART OF THE COUNTY WILL 
PRODUCE SLOW MOVING DOWNPOURS AND POSSIBLE WIND GUSTS TO 35 MILES AN 
HOUR BEFORE THEY EXIT THE COUNTY AFTER 615 PM EDT.
