  WAYNE COUNTY IN WESTERN NEW YORK
  CAYUGA COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW YORK

* UNTIL 815 PM EDT

* AT 620 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...EXTENDING FROM CLYDE TO CATO  
  AND MOVING TO THE NORTH AT 10 TO 15 MPH. RADAR PRECIPITATION 
  ESTIMATES SHOWED RAIN FALLING AT THE RATE OF 2 TO 3 INCHES PER 
  HOUR.

AT 811 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED THAT THE 
THUNDERSTORM THAT PROMPTED THE WARNING HAVE WEAKENED...THUS THE 
FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPIRE.

PONDING OF LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS WILL STILL BE POSSIBLE 
FOR AWHILE UNTIL THE WATER HAS TIME TO RUN OFF...ESPECIALLY BETWEEN 
CATO AND IRA WHERE THE HEAVIEST RAIN FELL.
