* AT 152 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  FLASH FLOODING PRODUCING THUNDERSTORMS NEAR GARCIASVILLE...OR      
  ABOUT 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF RIO GRANDE CITY...MOVING WEST AT 40 MPH.

* THE FLASH FLOODING PRODUCING THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST OVER       
  SOUTHERN STARR COUNTY THROUGH 4 PM PRIMARILY AFFECTING THE RIO     
  GRANDE CITY...ROMA AND GARCIASVILLE AREAS.

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS
FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT ONLY TAKES A FEW INCHES OF
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
