THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY
FOR NANTUCKET ISLAND...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON.

SUSTAINED WINDS ARE ALREADY BLOWING BETWEEN 25 AND 30 MPH ON NANTUCKET
AND SHOULD INCREASE DURING THE MIDDAY HOURS WITH GUSTS OF 45 TO 50
MPH POSSIBLE. AN OBSERVER FOR THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ON THE
ISLAND OF NANTUCKET REPORTED A GUST TO 49 MPH AT 755 THIS MORNING

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS
THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
