  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF NEWBURYPORT

* UNTIL 615 PM EDT

* AT 532 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NICKEL SIZE
  HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THESE STORMS 
  WERE LOCATED ALONG THE NEW HAMPSHIRE AND MASSACHUSETTS BORDER
  APPROACHING AMESBURY AND HAVERHILL. THE LINE WAS MOVING EAST AT
  10 MPH.

AT 549 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO 
INDICATE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTHERN ESSEX COUNTY ALONG THE NEW 
HAMPSHIRE BORDER.  THE STRONGEST STORM...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING NICKEL 
TO QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH...WAS 
LOCATED ALONG THE SALEM NEW HAMPSHIRE...METHUEN MASSACHUESTTS 
BORDER.  ALL STORMS WERE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE EAST AT 10 MPH.

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL AND FREQUENT DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING 
STRIKES WILL ACCOMPANY THE STORMS.  DUE TO THEIR SLOW 
MOVEMENT...LOCALIZED STREET FLOODING WILL ALSO OCCUR.

A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR BOATERS IN THE WATERS 
NORTH OF CAPE ANN UNTIL 645 PM.
