THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWEST MOHAVE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ARIZONA
  CLARK COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEVADA

* UNTIL 1100 AM PST(NOON MST)

* AT 755 AM PST...WIDESPREAD SIGNIFICANT FLOODING CONTINUES FROM THE 
  BASE OF THE SPRING MOUNTAINS EAST TO THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY AND LAKE 
  MEAD. IN THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY...NUMEROUS ROADS ARE CLOSED OR 
  IMPASSABLE DUE TO FLOODWATER. IN THE LAKE MEAD AREA...ROADS ARE 
  CLOSED DUE TO ROCK AND MUD SLIDES AS WELL AS FLOODING. WHILE THE 
  RAIN WILL COME TO AN END IN THE NEXT HOUR OR SO...FLOODING IS 
  EXPECTED TO BE A PROBLEM THROUGH MOST OF THE MORNING. 

* LOCATIONS INCLUDED IN THE WARNING ARE LAS VEGAS...NORTH LAS 
  VEGAS...HENDERSON... OVERTON...LAKE MEADE NATIONAL RECREATION

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN WHEN WATER COVERS THE ROAD. DO NOT DRIVE 
YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY AS THE 
WATER COULD HIDE ROAD DAMAGE AND SUBMERGED DEBRIS.
