* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CENTRAL SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA

* UNTIL 515 PM PDT

* AT 305 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
  THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING OVER CENTRAL SAN 
  BERNARDINO COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE BETWEEN THE COMMUNITIES OF 
  KELSO AND CIMA...OR ABOUT 31 MILES EAST OF BAKER...MOVING 
  NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

* THE STORMS PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING WILL OTHERWISE REMAIN OVER 
  MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF CENTRAL SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL 
CREEKS AND STREAMS AND COUNTRY ROADS...PARTICULARLY ALONG THE KELSO 
WASH.

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS
FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT ONLY TAKES A FEW INCHES OF
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
