* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LAFAYETTE COUNTY IN FLORIDA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF MAYO
  MADISON COUNTY IN FLORIDA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF MADISON
  TAYLOR COUNTY IN FLORIDA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF PERRY

* UNTIL 115 AM EDT

* AT 1111 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
VERY HEAVY RAIN BANDS FROM TROPICAL STORM JEANNE CONTINUING TO 
BUFFET THE AREA. RAINFALL TOTALS OF 4 TO 5 INCHES HAVE ALREADY FALLEN 
OVER PARTS OF LAFAYETTE COUNTY WITH 2 TO 4 INCHES OVER MUCH OF 
TAYLOR COUNTY. ALTHOUGH MADISON COUNTY HAS ONLY RECEIVED 1 TO 3 
INCHES THUS FAR...THE HEAVIER BANDS WILL LIKELY AFFECT MADISON 
THE LONGEST. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES IS LIKELY OVER THE 
AREA DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS...WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS TO 
THE NORTH.
 

* A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR
  OCCURRING. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER
  GROUND IMMEDIATELY. RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS
  SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.
  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF
  UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY AUTOMOBILE.

* DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
  ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
  CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
  QUICKLY. IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OR TWO OF FLOWING WATER TO SWEEP MOST
  CARS AWAY. REMEMBER...MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
