  WESTERN KANE COUNTY IN UTAH
  WASHINGTON COUNTY IN UTAH
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF ST. GEORGE

* UNTIL 400 AM MDT

* AT 945 PM MDT...HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. 

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO NEW        
  HARMONY....KANAB...ST GEORGE ANDS ZION NATIONAL PARK.

HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES TO MOVE NORTH FROM ARIZONA INTO SOUTHWEST UTAH. 
BEAVER DAM WASH HAS RISEN OVER 3 FEET IN THE UPPER REACHES NEAR 
MOTOQUA. INFLOW TO GUNLOCK RESERVOIR ON THE SANTA CLARA RIVER HAS 
RISEN 2 FEET THIS EVENING AND AUTOMATIC RIVER MONITORING EQUIPMENT 
INDICATE THE NORTH FORK OF THE VIRGIN RIVER IS RISING RAPIDLY.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW
LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.
